My first introduction to Barret...Very nice shanty! My first introduction to Barrett's Privateers was probably by The Pyrates Royale. However, my favorite version was sung by The Corsairs. <br /><br />If you have not heard it, let me suggest picking up an album by The Corries. The Corries are an Irish Folk Group and they do some wonderful music. My favorite album of theirs, "Barrett's Privateers" (I see a reoccurring theme here) is out of print.
